The Benefits of having a Blog

Now that you’ve got your website, whether it’s a personal site or a business site you can start blogging.  What is a Blog you ask?  Well according to a Blog is:

“A website containing a writer’s or group of writers’ own experiences, observations, opinions, etc., and often having images and links to other websites.”

What do I write about?

You can write about your own experiences.  What this does is shares what you have learned with others.  It also helps prove that you are an authority on the subject. It also allows you to work on your creative side and share your experience and knowledge with your website visitors and readers.

You can share facts and information, that is helpful for people.  However, I have found that if you can share personal experiences and stories that will make it easier for your audience to connect with you.   Once the audience makes a connection to you, they will keep coming back to your Blog in the future.

If you can add a picture to your Blog post it will make the blog post pleasing to the eye.  Images break up the Blog and give a visual of what the article is about.  This is great for individuals who are more visual.

What good is a Blog

Blogging Gives you a chance to update your website.  Updating your website often gets people to come back to your website.  It lets the Search Engine know that your websites are up to date and maintained.  Google will rank you higher when you publish often.  It shows them that your site is up to date and relevant.

If you can keep a consistent schedule, dates you release your articles. This will tell your audience what dates to come back.  If you have random release dates your audience will not know when to come back for new articles.

In conclusion, if you can release articles consistently with high-quality content. including personal stories and experiences, you will grow your audience.  If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment.  You can also Contact Me and I’ll be happy to answer your questions.
